The left bar shows 97 percent of Earth’s water is in oceans. The middle bar shows 3 percent of Earth's water is freshwater. About 69 percent of water is in glaciers and icecaps, they are mostly in Greenland and Antarctica. The other half of the water which I didn’t mention is all below your feet, which is considered as ground water and only about 0.3 percent of freshwater is in rivers and lakes.
